2. | Joan Bardolph (1.Avicia1) was born about 1399. Notes:
Joan m. to Sir William Phelip, K.G. (son of Sir John Phelip, Knt., of Donynton, Suffolk), a valiant soldier in the French wars of King Henry V, to which monarch he was treasurer of the household and, at his decease, had the chief direction of his funeral. Sir William is said to have been raised to the peerage by letters patent as Lord Bardolf in the reign of Henry VI, but he was never summoned to parliament. By Joan Bardolf he left an only dau. and heiress, Elizabeth, who m. John, Viscount, Beaumont.
