CHILLICOTHE GAZETTE MAY 2, 1959
C. ALBERT MADER
Service for C. Albert Mader, 294 Mill St, vice president of the Horney and Chapman Co., who died at 10:15a.m. Friday at White Cross Hospital, Columbus, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday at the Ware Funeral Home. The Rev. F. W. Knickrehm will officiate and burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 6, 1896 in Chillicothe, a son of Charles F. and Mary Gartner Mary.
Surviving are his wife, the former Artie Roseboom, to whom he was wed July 24, 1918; a daughter, Mrs. Al Herzel, Urbana, a son, Charles Albert Mader, Marion; three sisters, Miss Irene Mader, and Mrs. George Mathewson, Chillicothe, and Mrs. Harry Allen, Dayton; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Mader was a veteran of World War I and a member of American Legion Post 62, Ross County Conservation league, Masonic Lodge No 6, F and AM, and the UCT. He was a member of the Walnut Street Methodist church. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home after noon Sunday. Masonic service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pall Bearers at his funeral were: Ernest Augustus, Alf Gartner (family), John Mace, William Reppel, George Shearrow, and William Berthold.
Music (organ) selections were: Beyond the Sunset, Just as I am Abide with me, Faith of Our Fathers, I Need Thee Every Hour, Jesus Savior Pilot Me, Nearer my God to Thee, Rock of Ages, Jesus Call Us, Holy, Holy, Holy, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere, What a Friend I Have in Jesus, Now the Day is Near.
