MRS. MARY BELL DIES.
Was Member of Prominent Mississippi Family
Mrs. Mary Louise Flournoy Bell, member of a prominent Mississippi family, died at her residence, 2221 Jefferson Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 1:30o'clock, following a brief illness. She was 70 years of age.
Mrs. Bell was a native of Pontotoc, Miss. She moved to Memphis 10 years ago with her husband, the late James W. Bell. She was the daughter of the late Col R. R. and Louisa St. Clair Flournoy of Pontotoc.
Mrs. Bell's friends both in Memphis and Mississippi were legion.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. H. P. Hurt, Mrs. Whitfield King, Mrs. R. L. Campbell, and Mrs. E. M. Carr, and three grandchildren, Louise, Robert and James Campbell. Three children died.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of J. T. Hinton & Son, and burial will be at Pontotoc Thursday.
