provides the following evidence: Probate of 14 Aug 1841 will in Yazoo Co., MS minute book page 600 Feb 1842 term. Monica Moseley cites Yazoo Co. MS probate records (Will Book A, p. 58, dated 14 Aug. 1841, probated 1841).The will is apparently today only recorded at Mecklenburg Co VA "book" (?will book?) 16: 169-172 the guardian for his daughter, Margaret Ann is Richard Russell which clearly shows that's his brother-in-law of Red Oak in Charlotte Co., VA. Guardianship registered in the Feb 1842 term, and the Nov 1844 term (Probate Bk C, p. 465) he petitioned the court to purchase the real estate of the deceased in the name of his ward.

Arthur moved to MS early; he appears on the 1834 tax list.
