After the death of her husband Alden White, Achsah, her widowed sister Louisa, and her (Achsah's) daughter Minerva trekked to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. There in 1844, Minerva married Erastus Fairbanks Snow. Then in 1846 in the same town, Achsah and her sister Louisa, after converting to Mormonism, both were also wedded to the same Erastus Snow. This would now make Minerva's mother (Achsah) and Aunt Louisa her sisters-in-law. My fifth great grandmother would then also be my fifth great grand-aunt.
Achsah Wing and her first husband Alden White had a son named Charles. Charles White married Rachel Elwell. They had a daughter Clarissa Elnora White who was born in Salt Lake while it was still a new settlement for the Mormons.
Clarissa married three times. First two husbands died, then the third was George W.C.C. Butts. Clarissa and George had a daughter named Mary May Butts. Mary married twice. Her first husband died then she married Johann Henrich Hoerle. Mary and Johann (John) are buried in Vernonia, Oregon.
Johann and Mary had a daughter named Rheta. Rheta married Merle Goins. Their daughter Dorothy Goins married Forrest Moak.
Dorothy and Forrest had a daughter Judith who married William Munson. They are my parents.
