  Entered Trinity College in June 1712. In 1715, Moses entered the Inns of Court at the Temple, in London, to study law. After just over a year, returned home to take his degree of Bachelor of Arts at Trinity College. Disgusted with the study of law, Moses apprenticed himself to an engraver in London and became successful in this profession.
