Mehuman Stebbins of Connecticut by Prentiss Glazier
Cites Stebbins Genealogy (1904) p.115, which states that Samuel
Stebbins was divorced by his first wife Mary French for infidelity
which included his siring of several children by Sarah Williams.
The decree was rendered 27 DEC 1692 and Samuel m 12 MAR 1692/3
Sarah Williams in Rhode Island. The subject of the article is
apparently the son of Samuel by another extra-marital affair with
Ruth Baker who subsequently married Ebenezer Alford.
