Miss N. Ledbetter Answers Final Call

Miss Nancy Ledbetter, a resident of the Gridley district for 71 years died at her home on Wilson street Sunday. [Apr., 7 1929] Miss Ledbetter was born September 17, 1850, and was aged 78 years, 5 months and 20 days. She came to California from Missouri, the state in which she was born, when 7 years of age, and has resided here continuously since. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. B. Murphy of Texas, and a brother, G. W. Ledbetter of Gridley. Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Block Funeral Home with Rev. E. W. Dettweiler preaching the funeral sermon. Internment will be made in the Gridley-Biggs cemetery.
