Notes |
- Mary became a very wealthy young woman when her father died in1851 - her mother died a year after she was born. It had been askedof Wade the III to help her out with financial affairs of running theManchester plantation. It was stated that Mary was a shy, delicatelooking young woman the deep blue eyes and long, dark hair falling incurls to her shoulders. Wade was over six feet tall, robust, large in size and manner, healthy, rugged outdoor looks. Whereas Maryperferred indoor activities, Wade was very much the outdoors man.
