RED LION Charlotte E. Damuth, 94, entered into rest at her residence after a lengthy illness on Sunday, December 30, 2007, at 4:20 a.m. She was the wife of William G. Damuth, who passed away on April 26, 1986. Mrs. Damuth was born in Red Lion, November 9, 1913, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Iva (Neff) Etter. She was self employed as a hairdresser in Red Lion and was a member of St. Paul's U.M. Church of Red Lion and the Ladies Auxilliary of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Red Lion lodge No. 1592. Survivors include a son, Barry W. Damuth of Red Lion and his wife, Florence; a daughter, Tobye Steininger of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Jack Steininger Jr. and Terrie Steininger, both of Red Lion; and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Steininger of York. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, followed by a 2 p.m. service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Red Lion cemetery.
